Creating and responding to RFPs is critical to both meeting planners and suppliers. Is it possible for both sides to be happy? This panel discussion will look at the RFP process from both sides. How can meeting planners narrow down their priorities to only those that best fit the group? How can suppliers respond in a timely manner and in the planner’s preferred method of communication? Join us as we focus on what is most important in an RFP in order to enable us to bridge the gap between the meeting planner and the suppliers!

Sarah Hatley attended Ole Miss and earned her degree in Hospitality Management before making her way to Austin to start her hotel career with White Lodging. She's held both sales and events roles putting her face to face with a myriad of clientele from corporate to state and national associations to local catering, non-profits, and beyond. She loves making personal and lasting connections and uncovering more than just the dates & rates of the program to ensure her best bid has been put forward. When she isn't wearing her nametag, you'll find Sarah and her new husband and their crazy pug at a craft beer bar or on Lady Bird Lake in her hot pink kayak!

Paige Singleton - Account Manager Texas/Multicultural & Diversity Accounts for Visit Austin

Paige Singleton is the epitome of hospitality. She began her career as a Reservation and Service Agent for Starwood. Then joined the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort at the Front Desk before it became apparent that her winning personality belonged in the Sales department. After years contributing to Marriott, she joined Visit Austin in 2013 and quickly advanced to an Account Manager, most recently taking on the Multicultural and Diversity Accounts in the past year. Paige is known for her excellent sourcing, qualifying customer’s needs and identifying mutually beneficial relationships for her B2B market.

Angela Feinstein - Manager, Global Accounts for HelmsBriscoe

Angela Feinstein represents, HelmsBriscoe, the most established intermediary in the industry. Angela has been with HelmsBriscoe for 14 years and has successfully negotiated hotel contracts for a diverse range of clients.   Her clients include medical, financial and high tech corporations, hobby, state, national and international associations. She believes all successful negotiations start with a strong RFP that properly outline the clients requirements.
