Hello Tampa Bay Members and
Prospective Members! Fall is in the air and we have some great
opportunities for you to mix, mingle, and make new contacts!
Our next mixer will be held in Pinellas County, with one of our tastiest
suppliers – Toffee to Go on October 22nd at 5:30pm. Come check out
their incredible factory and taste some Toffee and hors d’oeuvres while
you meet new people and grow your business, or find suppliers that will
make your meetings and events shine. We also have an opportunity “South
of the Skyway” on October 27th, with our SOS group growing each month.
SOS starts at 4:30, so you can avoid the traffic; their networking
event will be at the Hilton Garden Inn, right near the airport.
But wait, there’s even more... Our November luncheon is one you will not want to miss! Mark your calendar and register early for this. We will be having lunch at the Amalie Arena on November 5th.
We will also be selling discounted tickets to a hockey game on which
you can offer to your friends and family. Registration for this event
is open so go to our website, http://www.tampabaympi.org and register early.
Did you notice our own Tara Liaschenko, CMM on the cover of The Meeting
Professional magazine? We are so lucky to have her as an integral part
of this chapter. I hope your read her story, and how she is helping to
ensure a strong future for MPI and our chapter. We have a succession
plan in place, and if you would like to grow professionally and
personally, I encourage you to get involved and stake your claim. The
training that I have received from MPI has profoundly impacted my
business. Our industry is very much back on track, and joining our Board
of Directors, or serving as a Committee Chairperson will give you great
exposure, offer you some great training and help you make new friends
in this industry.
Thank you to Whiskey Joe’s and all of sponsors who created a great
September luncheon. The view was spectacular and the dolphins decided
to show off for us. Chris Krimitsos, of Tampa Bay Business Owners
(TBBO), gave us all kinds of great websites to visit and apps to use in
our businesses. We learned, we had fun, we did some business. To me,
that’s what this chapter is all about.
Wishing you a great month,
